FLOODING IN GLOUCESTER



Just following our return from Jamaica, the people in Gloucestershire faced with a flooding crisis followed by shortage of water and food. This was a good sign of encouraging us to stop consumerism.















THE MISSION

  1. to increase awareness on environmental issues in Trabzon one of the most polluted cities of Turkey.
  2. To include people to local footstep group from different ages and professions.
  3. To work with the local council for the betterment of the recycling facilities

GLOBAL FOOTSTEPS 11-JAMAICA


On behalf of the Local Footstep Trabzon, Sule Bayrak attend the 11th conference of Global Footsteps in July 2007 at Moneague College in the Parish of St.Ann, Jamaica. The Participants were from Jamaica, Brazil, Russia, Poland, UK, USA and Turkeyand came together to discuss how to form the network with other local footstep groups, to increase the awareness on environmental issues and the effects of the consumerism on environment.
